CSEM presented at the Biointerfaces International Conference 2022 | Zurich, Switzerland
On September 12-15, CSEM Tools for Life Sciences (CSEM) who is the coordinator of the ORGANTRANS project and where AMIRES is a partner, had a booth at the Biointerfaces International Conference (BIC) 2022 in Zurich, Switzerland. Additionally, as an invited speaker, Stéphanie Boder-Pasche from CSEM gave a presentation on “Standardized Tools for Organoid-on-Plate” mentioning the ORGANTRANS technology which proposes a 3D bioprinting liver tissue platform to potentially replace liver transplantation for patients with end-stage liver failure.
In overall, the conference was focused on science, technology, and translation with a special focus on microphysiological systems, de novo tissues, and organoids. The technologies developed in the ORGANTRANS project, mainly the perfusion system, organoid sorting system, and printing of the bioconstruct received high attention during this event.
