Our ORGANTRANS partners from CSEM were happy to present their results at the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS) European Chapter Conference 2022 in Krakow, Poland. Claudia Sampaio Da Silva presented the poster entitled “Automated platform for high-throughput, deep learning-based sorting of spherical 3D cell models for liver tissue engineering”. Francesca Luongo presented her work entitled “Improving the Classification of an unbalanced Spheroid Dataset by Augmentation with synthetic Images generated with GANs”. Both posters describe different aspects of the automated spheroid classification and sorting platform which is one of the building blocks of the ORGANTRANS technology. ORGANTRANS technology proposes a 3D bioprinting liver tissue platform to potentially replace liver transplantation for patients with end-stage liver failure.
